Above, the Sweet Home community fills the Community Chapel amphitheater to see Todd Agnew, a Christian music artist. Approximately 1,300 attended the concert held on Thursday. At right, Agnew performs original music. Among several ideas, he talked about the importance of worshiping and praising God rather than arguing and splitting churches over bickering about who's right in the many debates about God. God is a mystery, he said, He's incomprehensible, but amazingly "we all think we're right." When his equipment failed as he tried to strike the first chords of his show, he told the audience that "things like this do not happen except when God wants to move and Satan gets in the way" trying to stop whatever it is "you'll take away from this." Chapel organizers are talking about additional concerts throughout the year.

We hosted No Middle Ground &
the Todd Agnew band in 2006.
Over 1300 people gathered in the
amphitheater for
an awesome evening of music, food and perfect Oregon weather. We're looking forward to the concert series for 2007 which includes Jeremy Riddle, The Afters, Calling Simon, Big Daddy Weave, Paul Wright, and Ruth. The photo and caption
(at left) was printed in
The New
Era ewspaper and is posted here
